The whole garden is filled with the noise of baby birds tweeting as many are starting to leave their nests.  Here is a young great tit that landed on the fence yesterday...

Our Resident Blackbirds 16/5/2010

Here are some pictures of our resident blackbirds.  Mum is on the nest in our shed now so hope to catch some of the babies soon.  Chuffed that we were able to get this photo as we can't see her this well at all with the naked eye.  Dad just hangs around and chases other birds off when he feels like it.

Sparrowhawk

This was taken in April 2010 on our garden shed.  It had nearly finished its meal by the time I saw it and I still got 7 minutes of footage.  I don't know how long it had been there but I can assume it ate its whole meal there due to the number of feathers on the shed and floor.
